Fish Processing & Packaging Specialist Trapper's Creek Smoking Company Anchorage, AK Job Details Full-time From $17 an hour 19 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications Food processing plant Customer service Basic math English Driver's License Manufacturing Full Job Description Fish Processing & Packaging Specialist compensation: $17.00+ per hour DOE employment type: full-time Anchorage salmon smoking manufacturing facility is seeking applicants for open positions assisting food production, raw fish processing and/or packaging finished product. These are fast paced positions that include physical labor. There is good potential for applicants with initiative & drive. Please respond with resume or description of work history
Position Requirements:
Ability to work a flexible schedule & overtime as needed Must speak, read & write English fluently Valid driver license desirable Seafood HACCP & food safety knowledge desirable Packaging line & fillet line experience are helpful All team members must be physically strong; able to stand on your feet all day & need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs Must be clean & healthy. We are food manufacturers and only clean, healthy applicants will be considered. Must have dependable transportation & be reliable for work every day AK DL or State ID and a SS card are required as proof of identity In additions, candidates with customer services experience, good math skills, basic computer skills AND can also meet the above requirements are highly desirable.
