Job Description
Northern Sales Company, a trusted name in Anchorage for over 60 years, is seeking motivated Warehouse Forklift Operators to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play an essential role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, organized, and prepared for next-day delivery. Responsibilities Accurately pick and sort customer orders in a dry warehouse environment. Operate a forklift as needed. Assist with replenishing warehouse stock and sorting customer orders for delivery as needed. Communicate any discrepancies or damaged merchandise to the Warehouse Operations Manager. Prioritize and perform multiple tasks to meet daily deadlines and ensure timely order fulfillment. Maintain a safe and organized work area, following all safety guidelines and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts and working in warehouse distribution preferred; willingness to learn considered. Familiarity with warehouse flow and distribution processes preferred. Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic. Reliable transportation to and from the worksite. Commitment to following safety rules and guidelines. Compensation $18.00 per hour
