AK Description:
Picker/Packer Associate The Picker/Packer Associate is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet daily production goals. Key Responsibilities Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or handheld scanning devices Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during shipment Verify order accuracy, including item count and product codes Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipping Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or scanners Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow company safety procedures and warehouse protocols Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Basic math and reading skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliable attendance and punctuality Skills & Competencies Time management Teamwork and communication Organizational skills Problem-solving ability Basic familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) Work Environment Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures Frequent walking, bending, lifting, and reaching May require overtime during peak seasons Apply for this Job Discover more Search Local Jobs Access Online Encyclopedias Find Assistance Programs Please use the
