Job Description

Our roots are in playgrounds, but we design, manufacture, and build complete recreation environments all over the world using the widest range of products you can get from one manufacturer! "Together, we can help people build stronger communities — we're just getting started." Come join our PlayCore Family today! Summary Hardware order puller and packer. Interpret daily orders and correctly pull and package hardware to meet daily shipping requirements. Accurately process paperwork to complete orders through the system. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Must have a good attendance record Must have basic mathematical skills Must be forklift certified, and safely operate a forklift Must be able to accurately record, scan, and maintain paperwork This position will have a major emphasis on quality Will be responsible for the accurate pulling, packaging, and staging of orders to meet on time delivery and quality targets and in a manner which prevents damage during transport Must be physically able to perform job duties, which requires heavy lifting, with or without accommodation Must be able to work the necessary overtime when required, which may include weekends Must be able to work any shift, which may include weekends Must be willing to perform other duties within the department as needed Other duties may be assigned by Manager, Supervisor, or Lead.
QUALIFICATIONS
What qualifications are they required to have? Basic Microsoft office applications and company operating and/or MRP systems Travel No travel requirements Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Reasoning Ability Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Computer Skills Must be able to use company operating and/or MRP systems, basic Microsoft office applications and a scanner Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually noisy; it is in a manufacturing environment. Temperatures may vary from hot to cold, it is not a climate-controlled environment. PPE is required.
