Why This Role Green Dot Labs is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Packaging Specialist I to support daily operations within our quality-focused cannabis packaging facility. This role plays an important part in ensuring products are packaged accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with company quality and compliance standards. Working closely with Packaging and Operations teams, this position supports product preparation, packaging execution, labeling, inventory tracking, and workspace organization. This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in building hands-on experience within a fast-paced cannabis production environment while contributing directly to product quality and operational consistency. What You'll Do Prepare containers and materials for cannabis products across multiple product categories Measure, weigh, and package products accurately according to established specifications Maintain consistent quality control standards throughout packaging processes Operate packaging equipment and tools according to product requirements and SOPs Assist with labeling and preparation of outgoing orders Maintain clean, organized, and compliant packaging workspaces Help maintain packaging equipment and report any operational concerns Track and record daily packaging production data accurately Support inventory handling and additional operational tasks as needed Assist with delivery-related processes when requested Follow all company safety procedures, SOPs, and quality standards Maintain confident comprehension and ensure compliance with Department of Health Services Adult-Use Marijuana Program regulations as they apply to cannabis production and delivery What's In It for You Opportunity to work with a leading premium cannabis brand known for quality and innovation Hands-on experience within a regulated cannabis production environment Exposure to packaging operations, compliance processes, and quality control systems Collaborative, team-oriented workplace focused on operational excellence Opportunity for growth within packaging and broader operations teams What Makes You a Great Fit High school diploma or GED required Must be at least 21 years of age Must have and maintain a valid Arizona FA Card, or be eligible and willing to obtain one prior to employment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under deadlines Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to maintain quality and consistency while performing repetitive tasks Reliable transportation required Work Environment This role is primarily onsite in Tempe, AZ and requires regular work within cannabis packaging and production environments. The position typically follows a 40-hour workweek based on operational needs. The role requires standing for extended periods, repetitive movement, and moderate physical activity including walking, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting up to 20 pounds. Work may include exposure to cannabis products, strong odors, packaging materials, and production equipment. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and must be worn as required by company procedures. Benefits & Total Rewards We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, an HSA option for eligible plans, company-paid basic life and AD&D insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan. Benefits for most employees become effective the first day of the month following 60 days of employment. Eligible employees may participate in the 401(k) plan after 90 days of employment, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.
