Job Description

Position Overview:
As a Door Picking Associate at Krosswood Doors , you will be responsible for picking door units from racking using a sit-down forklift and staging them for production or shipping. This role requires a hard-working, reliable, and punctual individual looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing and warehousing operations. You will be expected to work with speed, accuracy, and consistency as well as maintain a team-player mentality and commitment to safety, quality, and material handling standards. All candidates are subject to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Core Responsibilities:
Pick door units from racking locations using a sit-down forklift. Follow designated picking locations and staging processes. Ensure correct door selection based on work orders. Load and unload doors onto carts safely. Maintain proper fork depth and positioning. Prevent damage during handling and transport. Read and follow work orders. Verify correct SKU, size, and quantity. Maintain quality standards. Inspect doors for damage prior to staging. Support throughput (TPUT). Meet daily and hourly picking targets. Maintain safe and organized workspace. Follow PPE and 6S standards. Work cooperatively with team members.
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years experience operating a sit-down forklift. Ability to safely operate forklift in warehouse environment. Ability to read and understand work orders. Basic math skills. Ability to inspect product for damage. Strong commitment to safety standards. Work well with team members. Maintain equipment properly. Keep work area clean and organized. Report discrepancies immediately. Reliable work history preferred. Stand for extended periods. Lift 45-75 lbs constantly. Strong communication skills.

Compensation:
Bi-weekly.
Pay:
$18 or DOE. Medical, dental, vision and other supplemental insurances available. Paid time off, paid company holidays and 401k plan.
