This role involves crafting high-quality soap products through precise mixing, blending, and processing techniques. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and mechanical processes involved in soap production. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to innovative personal care products while maintaining rigorous quality control and safety protocols. Responsibilities Prepare soap bases by accurately measuring and combining ingredients using appropriate mixing techniques Operate and maintain mixing equipment, ensuring proper calibration and sanitation Follow established recipes and formulations to produce consistent product batches Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment in compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards Monitor the production process to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to specifications Assist in the development of new soap formulations through experimentation and testing Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during all stages of production Maintain detailed records of batch processes, ingredient usage, and quality checks Support inventory management by organizing raw materials and finished products efficiently Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify areas for process improvement Skills Proven experience in food production, baking, or culinary environments with strong mechanical knowledge Familiarity with sanitation protocols, HACCP, and CGMP standards relevant to manufacturing settings Knowledge of food handling, processing, and safety regulations applicable to personal care product manufacturing Basic math skills for measurements, conversions, and recipe adjustments Mechanical aptitude for operating mixers, blenders, and other manufacturing equipment Strong knife skills or precision cutting abilities for ingredient preparation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Experience with forklift operation is a plus for inventory movement Excellent organizational skills coupled with a commitment to safety and cleanliness This position is an excellent fit for individuals passionate about food industry standards, manufacturing processes, and creating high-quality soap products.
