POSITION SUMMARY
As a Silverware Packer at dnata Catering, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate packing of silverware for our aviation catering services. Your primary responsibility will be to carefully inspect and pack silverware items, such as cutlery, plates, glasses, and other dining accessories, according to specific guidelines and quality standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspect and sort silverware items to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from defects or damage. Pack silverware items into designated containers or trays, following the provided guidelines and instructions. Ensure the accurate counting and labeling of packed silverware items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area, including the proper storage of silverware and packaging materials. Collaborate with the inventory team to monitor stock levels and report any shortages or discrepancies. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines while handling silverware and operating packing equipment. Assist in other tasks related to the packing and preparation of catering supplies as required. Follow HACCP requirements for this area. Work in safe manner to prevent accidents to self and coworkers.

EDUCATION
Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of work experience
QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory. Must meet all applicable state and local food handler certification requirements for the work location (Texas requires a Food Handler Certificate within 60 days of hire). Attention to detail and ability to work with precision to ensure the quality of packed silverware. Basic math skills required. Addition, Subtraction and Multiplication. Be able to work safely while following all safety requirements. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Intellectual/Social demands:
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. This position also requires constant attendance and punctuality
