Job Description

What you would be responsible for : As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring that product is available and packaging materials are in place. You will also be responsible for the efficient running of multiple machines within the assigned department. Essential Responsibilities Follow all company policies and procedures. Follow and ensure compliance to quality system and cGMP programs. Complete and properly fill out packaging area batch records Ensure that all bags are clean and properly sealed. Check lot numbers and expiration dates and other important information. Stack boxes on pallets, ensuring that they are presentable and ready for shipment. Take out completed pallets into the warehouse. Put labels pallets and tape them securely. Weigh out boxes for accuracy prior to printing lot numbers. Put lot numbers on boxes and adjusts as needed. Keep track of completed pallets and take out sample boxes and sample pouches. Bring in wooden pallets of Super Sacks to room and take out completed boxes. Assist machine operators as needed. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math skills including units of measurement (i.e., weight, size, volume). Record keeping skills. The ability to follow detailed instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Must be able to comply with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and other regulatory and Safety requirements. Must have basic language skills. Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures. Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential position duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to self or others. Maintain a regular and dependable work attendance record with few instances of unplanned and/or unexpected absence Schedule Monday - Friday 5:45 AM - 2:15
