Forklift Full Job Description Description Lumpers/Offloaders Job Summay:
Are you looking for a position where you can make money and stay physically fit?? Offloading containers will keep you working fast and the faster you work, the more money you make! This position will require offloading by hand, palletizing, shrink wrapping and working with mixed containers. We are looking for experienced offloaders who can stay organized, work fast-paced, and get the work done.
Position Details:
1st shift: Monday to Friday (OT and weekends as needed)
Start Time:
may vary on the site Pay per container (we do not pay hourly) Weekly pay- every
Friday Pay Range:
$676.00- $800.00 (pay range depends on the number of containers completed, the number of containers available, and your ability to work at different locations.)
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN MANUAL OFFLOADING
!Must be able to travel to different locations in the Inland Empire!
Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently remove items from shipping containers and place them on pallets. Thoroughly examine inbound, stored, and outbound shipments to identify damage, missing items, or incomplete pallets. Organize goods systematically based on specific criteria, such as sorting by item number, SKU, or other relevant factors. Properly place and secure items on pallets for loading into shipping containers or trailers. Secure shipments to prevent movement and damage of goods during transportation. Verify that all labels are correctly placed and legible, providing accurate information about the contents. Help truck drivers position their vehicles safely at loading docks to facilitate efficient and safe loading and unloading. Keep the work area tidy and free of potential hazards to ensure the safety of yourself and co-workers. Creation of pallets and/or moving boxes up to 50 pounds. Move items to assigned storage locations in an efficient and organized manner. Apply shrink wrap or protective material to secure and stabilize palletized items for safe transport. Load properly palletized goods into shipping containers or trucks for transport. Manage, organize and retrieve warehouse stock. Loading and unloading delivery trucks or containers and storing items at their designated locations. Record and maintain an accurate inventory of products. Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and quality control. Collaborate with warehouse team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and prioritize tasks. You must be able to report to different warehouse locations if and when needed. Other tasks assigned.

MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF MANUAL OFFLOADING EXPERIENCE!
Excellent handeye coordination and depth perception. Physical endurance and strength to perform required tasks, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods of time. Attention to detail and commitment to precision in all tasks. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Flexibility to work multiple shifts, including weekends and overtime, as needed. Ability to work in a fastpaced environment Ability to work/collaborate in a team(s). Excellent time management skills. Able and willing to work in a different warehouse location if and when needed. Reliable transportation.
Physical requirements and environmental conditions:
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects weighing up to 80 pounds on a regular basis. Physical endurance and endurance to perform repetitive tasks, such as bending, lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time. Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Comfortable working in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity, if necessary. Ability to hear and understand audible cues and instructions in a noisy environment. Good vision, including depth perception and peripheral vision, to safely maneuver the forklift and navigate the facility. Exposure to charging noises and vibrations. Clear verbal and nonverbal communication skills to follow directions, collaborate with team members, and report any safety issues promptly. Ability to maneuver within confined spaces, climb stairs, work on elevated platforms, and maintain balance while walking on uneven surfaces. Manual dexterity to safely handle, manipulate, and control various sizes of items, packages, and machinery.
