In this role, you'll be the backbone of our order processing, ensuring that every package is accurately picked, carefully packed, and efficiently shipped to meet customer expectations. Your proactive approach will help maintain a smooth flow of materials handling, inventory management, and shipping logistics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in warehouse management systems and heavy equipment operation while contributing to a fast-paced distribution environment. Responsibilities Pick and pack customer orders with precision using RF scanners and order picker equipment to ensure accuracy and timeliness Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and load/unload trucks safely and efficiently Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, replenishing inventory, and organizing materials within the warehouse distribution area Assist in shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments, preparing shipping labels, and documenting inbound/outbound freight Conduct quality control checks on packages to ensure proper packaging standards are maintained before dispatch Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, update stock records, and streamline order fulfillment workflows Support warehouse supervisor in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and participating in regular safety audits Skills Proven experience with warehouse operations including order picking & packing, stocking, and materials handling Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred), reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting basic equipment issues and performing routine maintenance Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during order fulfillment tasks Excellent organizational skills with a focus on quality control and accuracy in shipping & receiving processes Prior warehouse supervisor or leadership experience is a plus for understanding workflow coordination Join us in creating an energetic environment where your contributions directly impact customer satisfaction!
