Monday-Friday, daytime shifts ranging from 4-8 hours depending on production needs About Beach City Coffee Beach City Coffee is a growing, women-owned coffee company based in Redondo Beach. We roast and package Fair Trade Organic coffee for retailers, businesses, and customers across the country. We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Coffee Packaging & Production Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on role involving coffee packaging, production support, order preparation, inventory organization, and general warehouse duties. Responsibilities Weigh, fill, seal, and label bags of freshly roasted coffee Apply date codes and verify that labels and packaging are accurate Inspect finished products for quality and consistency Pack completed products into cases and prepare orders for shipment Assemble boxes and organize packaging materials Assist with moving, receiving, and organizing coffee, supplies, and finished inventory Operate a forklift as needed to move pallets and materials Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary production area Follow food-safety, quality-control, and workplace-safety procedures Assist with general production, warehouse, and order-fulfillment tasks as needed Communicate any packaging, inventory, equipment, or quality issues to the production team Qualifications Must have a valid California Food Handler Card or be willing and able to obtain one shortly after hire Must be comfortable operating a forklift and willing to complete any required safety training Previous forklift, warehouse, food-production, packaging, fulfillment, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions carefully Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Comfortable performing repetitive packaging and production tasks Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a small team Able to stand for extended periods during a shift Able to regularly lift and move up to 40-50 pounds Comfortable working around coffee, packaging equipment, pallets, and warehouse materials Training will be provided Schedule Monday through Friday Daytime availability required Shifts generally range from 4 to 8 hours Expected schedule is approximately 25-35 hours per week Weekly hours may vary based on production volume and order needs What We're Looking For The right candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and takes pride in accurate, consistent work.
