Full-time:

Requirements:

Please do not apply if you cannot work with the requirements. Key Responsibilities The dispatch manager will provide order sheet. Set up the weigh labeler with the correct PLU based on the order sheet. The dispatch manager will check this is correct. Put an empty box of the correct size on the banding machine. Take a pack from the tub(s) provided by the dispatch manager and place on the weighing scale. Take the label from the scale and apply to the package in the correct location. Place the pack in the box and keep weighing until the box is full or the correct number of packages have been weighed, whichever comes first. Print two total labels, placing one on the box and the other on the order sheet. Tape and band the box, then place on wheels. Keep weighing product until the line item is complete. Print a grand total label and place on the order sheet. Pack orders as ordered and ensure any stock items left have been checked to ensure we have no orders (as things may change during the day). Process the correct orders in the correct quantity to fulfil planned requirements, checking PLU's are correct and products are labelled correctly. Oversee proper completion of daily setup procedure. Maintain standards of hygiene, good housekeeping and good environmental practice by adequate supervision of production areas and production staff. Ensure the correct procedures and work methods are being applied and production paperwork is completed correctly.

Qualifications:

Minimum of HS diploma or GED required. At least 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in the food processing industry. and/or scale house. Bi-lingual English and Spanish is a MUST. Strong motor skills and hand dexterity. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Must be capable of working in a food freezer environmen t (we will provide protective clothing)

Environment:

This position works in a combination of plant and warehouse settings, working in various temperature conditions, and long periods of standing and/or walking.
