Monday-Sunday, 8AM-4AM Job Overview Golden State Scents is hiring reliable and hardworking Order Packers to prepare fragrance orders for shipment. This is a fast-paced warehouse and fulfillment position. Employees will be responsible for accurately matching products to customer orders, securely packaging glass fragrance bottles, applying shipping labels, and preparing completed packages for carrier pickup. The ideal candidate works quickly without sacrificing accuracy, follows instructions carefully, stays organized, and is comfortable standing and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Responsibilities Pick the correct products for each customer order. Verify product names, quantities, and shipping information. Carefully package glass fragrance bottles to prevent damage during shipping. Assemble boxes and add protective packaging materials. Print and apply shipping labels correctly. Inspect completed packages for accuracy and quality. Organize completed orders for USPS, UPS, or other carrier pickup. Maintain a clean and organized packing station. Restock boxes, tape, bubble wrap, and other packing supplies. Meet daily packing speed and accuracy expectations. Report damaged, missing, or incorrect products immediately. Follow all company packing and safety procedures. Assist with inventory organization and other fulfillment duties when needed. What We Are Looking For Reliable, punctual, and able to attend every scheduled shift. Able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Able to follow packing instructions and shipping procedures. Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods. Able to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 30 pounds. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Must have dependable transportation to South San Francisco. Basic English reading skills are required to match products and shipping labels correctly. Previous warehouse, shipping, packing, fulfillment, or inventory experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. Physical Requirements Stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the shift. Regularly handle boxes, glass bottles, tape, labels, and packaging materials. Occasionally lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds. Perform repetitive packing and labeling tasks. Work safely and efficiently during high-volume order periods. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, careful, and able to maintain a fast working pace. You must understand that every package must contain the correct products and be packed securely before it is shipped to the customer. Accuracy, attendance, productivity, and the ability to follow instructions are extremely important for this position.
