About the Role JSI is seeking a Packer Lead to supervise and coordinate the activities of packers involved in preparing cabinets and related products for shipment. This role involves overseeing the packing process, ensuring quality standards are met, organizing the packing area, and providing guidance to the packing team.Schedule:

Assign tasks, establish priorities, and oversee daily packing operations to meet shipment deadlines. Motivate and encourage team members to maintain high-quality packing standards and productivity. Supervise the packing process, ensuring cabinets are packed according to specifications and company standards. Conduct regular quality checks on packed cabinets to ensure they meet quality criteria before shipment. Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies with packed items and collaborate with other departments to address quality concerns. Maintain an organized packing area and ensure sufficient supplies are available for packaging cabinets. Provide training to new packers on packing techniques, quality standards, packsize machine and safety procedures. Offer coaching and support to team members to improve packing efficiency and accuracy. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and guidelines during packing activities to maintain a safe work environment. Provide training on proper lifting techniques to prevent injury and ensure personal safety. Enforce compliance with company policies and procedures related to packing and quality control. Communicate effectively with your team, other team leads, and DC manager regarding packing schedules, inventory needs, and any issues encountered. Coordinate with shipping lead and logistics personnel to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packed cabinets.Requirements:
Previous experience in packing, warehouse, or shipping environments with demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to motivate and lead a team to meet production and quality goals. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Proficient in handling packing materials and utilizing packing equipment. High school diploma or equivalent. Additional training or certifications in warehouse management or leadership is a plus. Ability to lift up to 49lb boxesSimilar remote jobs
