Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time E-Commerce Order Packer & Inventory Associate, where your energy and attention to detail will drive our order fulfillment and inventory management processes. In this vital role, you will ensure that customer orders are accurately packed, efficiently shipped, and that our warehouse inventory remains organized and up-to-date. Duties Carefully pick and pack customer orders using barcode scanning technology and warehouse management systems (WMS) to ensure accuracy and completeness Operate material handling equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely and effectively Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods with manual handling techniques and adherence to safety protocols Maintain organized inventory by stocking shelves, conducting regular stock counts, and updating inventory management systems accurately Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments against purchase orders and documentation Perform quality control checks on products before packing to ensure items meet company standards Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe lifting practices, and proper operation of heavy equipment Requirements Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and barcode scanning devices Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely and consistently during packing and loading tasks Basic math skills for counting inventory, measuring packages, and verifying quantities accurately Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management systems is a plus Excellent attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and quality standards are met Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors Join us in creating an energetic environment where your contributions directly impact customer satisfaction!
