Job Description
This position entails Light manufacturing responsibilities as well as order preparation. Manufacturing work performed will include filling jars and jugs/containers with materials. Labeling containers and applying shrink wrap to them. Fulfillment responsibilities will be Preparing boxes to be shipped out and handling boxes up to 50 lbs. Many boxes are 9-19 lbs but can routinely be up to 50lbs. It is Imperative that the correct products and amounts of products be correctly placed in the appropriate box for shipping. Work schedule is for Weekdays Monday-Friday, typically 4-8 hours a day, schedule is typically 10am-5pm dependent on product demands. We are an expanding business and demand is increasing. At this time we are looking to fill 20-30 hours a week in production and shipping. Promptness to start the day is required and excellent work is rewarded. Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse setting
- Ability to perform picking, packing, and order preparation tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail for quality control purposes
- Capability to handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading tasks
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices/systems and stocking procedures, stock must be rotated.
- forklift safety familiarity to be able work around forklifts.
