Who We Are At MIA Retail Systems, we're a family-owned, vertically integrated hemp powerhouse — spanning manufacturing, retail, wholesale, e-commerce, and our fast-growing hemp beverage line. You'll see our family of brands across Canna Ocho (Little Havana), Canna Like This (Sunrise), CBD.co, DrinkAmigos.com, Major League Trees, WholesaleCBD.co, and more. This role sits on the Major League Trees manufacturing team — our high-volume hemp pre-roll production house. We move fast, work hard, and grow even faster — doubling (and sometimes tripling) revenue has been the norm. We're proud of the momentum, but we don't do chaos: we care about doing things right and treating people right. Our Core Values 9. Extreme Ownership — own your results AND your teams, never pass the blame, we don't point fingers, see things through 10. Solutions Driven — sees opportunities in obstacles, keep positive under pressure, do whatever it takes 11. Gritty and Humble — we work hard, keep our heads down, never let our ego get too big, "don't step over the trash" 12. Growth Oriented — we learn & we grow, seek feedback for growth If those core values align with you, please apply for consideration. The Role Our packaging lines convert finished pre-rolls into shelf-ready product through six tightly coordinated stations: Mylar Labeling, Mylar Fill (1ct, 2ct, or 3ct), Heat Sealing (190°C max), Display Boxing (10ct or 50ct), Master Case Packing, and Pallet Build. We're hiring Packaging Specialists who can be cross-trained to rotate across any of these stations as production demand shifts. Speed matters. Accuracy matters more. A wrong strain label discovered downstream is a full case re-pack.
What You'll Do Mylar Labeling:
apply correct strain labels to empty 1ct/2ct/3ct mylar bags (450/hr target per worker)
Mylar Fill:
insert pre-rolls into labeled mylars verifying strain-to-label match every 50th unit (600/hr target)

operate PE+Aluminum mylar sealers at no more than 190°C; inspect every seal for gaps, burns, or leaks (900/hr target)
Display Boxing:
count exactly 10 or 50 sealed mylars per display, recount before closing each box
Master Case Packing:
pack exactly 20 displays per master case, apply 4×6 case label, palletize and shrink-wrap Maintain FIFO discipline — oldest stock packages first; strain bins kept clearly labeled and 1 meter apart Verify every count, every label, every seal — flag any defect to the Floor Lead immediately Keep workstations clean, stocked, and ready for the next batch Cross-train across packaging stations to fill gaps as line bottlenecks shift Support Master Case and pallet build during slack time Requirements (Must-Haves) Must be 18+ Must be able to pass E-Verify for authorization to work in the U.S. (I-9 & W-4 required) High school diploma or equivalent Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Comfortable with the Major League Trees dress code: closed-toe shoes, full-length pants, hairnets, no loose jewelry or strong fragrances on the production floor Manufacturing, warehouse, food packaging, or assembly experience preferred Strong attention to detail and the discipline to count accurately every time Ability to maintain pace at production targets (450-3,600 units/hr depending on station)
Bonus:
prior cannabis, hemp, food, cosmetic, or pharmaceutical packaging experience
Bonus:
experience operating heat sealers, label applicators, or shrink-wrap equipment Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods (8-10 hour shifts with scheduled breaks) Repetitive hand and finger movement (rolling, filling, sealing, packaging) Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally Comfortable working in close proximity to hemp flower, terpenes, and hash oil Vision adequate to inspect product for quality defects under task lighting Who You Are Punctual, dependable, honest Strong work ethic, flexible, willing to learn Able to follow detailed SOPs and hit production targets without constant supervision Clear communicator who follows instructions and asks questions when needed Team player who treats the floor with respect and ownership Benefits & Growth Benefits available after 90 days include health, dental, and vision, with periodic evaluations for additional benefits.
