Picker and Packer Job Description This role involves accurately building orders based on pull sheets in a cold-chain environment. The position is crucial to ensuring 100% accuracy in delivering orders directly to customers' front doors. Responsibilities Select and pick customer orders using RF scanners, pick sheets, or voice-directed systems. Verify product accuracy, including item, quantity, lot numbers, and condition, before packing. Pack, palletize, and wrap orders according to company standards to ensure safe transport. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, or forklifts (if certified). Maintain cold-chain integrity by working efficiently in refrigerated (0-40°F) or frozen (‑10°F or lower) environments. Follow safety protocols including PPE use, equipment operation rules, and food-safety guidelines. Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and replenishment as needed. Keep work areas clean and organized to support warehouse efficiency. Essential Skills Warehouse picking experience with RF scanners to ensure 100% accuracy. Ability to work efficiently and safely inside a 5°F freezer for long periods. Material handling experience. Knowledge of inventory, unloading, shipping, and receiving processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with packaging and order picking. Familiarity with

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ormond Beach, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
