Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking individual to join our Wood Crate & Pallet Department. This hands-on role involves building custom wood packaging using saws, nail guns, and other tools, as well as operating a forklift to move materials and finished products. While previous experience is preferred, we are willing to train motivated candidates who are eager to learn and grow within our company.Key Responsibilities:
- Construct wood crates and pallets according to specifications
- Safely operate saws, nailers, and other hand or power tools
- Load, unload, and transport materials using a forklift
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in woodworking, construction, or manufacturing is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools and power equipment safely
- Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus)
- Must be able to accurately read a tape measure.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
