Shore Aquatic is a specialty aquatic plant business serving hobbyists and aquascaping enthusiasts. We grow, curate, and ship premium live aquatic plants directly to customers nationwide.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team part-time. This hands-on position involves caring for live aquatic plants, maintaining healthy tank environments, performing quality control, and preparing orders for shipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform routine aquarium tank maintenance (water changes, cleaning, equipment checks) Monitor plant health and flag any issues (algae, rot, pests) Conduct quality control inspections before packing Pack and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and carefully Label, organize, and stage outgoing packages Maintain a clean, organized workspace

REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to read and speak English fluently Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (light physical work) Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Strong attention to detail Prior packing, shipping, or fulfillment experience preferred Interest in aquariums or plants is a plus but not required

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

$14.00/hour 15-20 hours per week (flexible scheduling) 1099 Independent Contractor position Contractors are responsible for their own tax obligations

Pay:

$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
