Job Summary Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Food Packer in Cornelia, GA! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately packaging food products in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all items meet strict quality and safety standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help us deliver top-quality products to our customers. Responsibilities Operate packaging equipment and assembly lines following manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols. Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and proper use of material handling equipment such as forklifts. Interpret production documents to ensure correct packaging specifications and labeling are followed precisely. Troubleshoot mechanical issues with industrial equipment and perform basic mechanical troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area, adhering to FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety standards in production. Assist with warehouse operations, including materials handling, inventory management, and proper storage of finished goods. Follow safety standards rigorously, including the use of hand tools, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and compliance with safety protocol adherence policies. Skills Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including packaging equipment operation and assembly techniques. Knowledge of FDA regulations, CGMP guidelines, and GMP practices essential for food manufacturing environments. Ability to interpret production documents accurately and perform basic math calculations related to measurements and quantities. Pay:
$18.50 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 45.0 per week
