Lithia Springs, GA 30122
Duration:
3+ Months Schedule Monday to Friday PM Shift 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Must be able to work OT if the workload demands it
Note:
Candidate must have reliable transportation to and from work. Will be asked to do additional warehouse work as described below. Must be experienced on double pallet jack operation

  • 1•3 years' experience Order picking from floor and sometimes upper locations (High reach experience helpful) Must be able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
Team lifts for 50+ Build pallets and secure pallets to avoid tipping. Production environment

Experience & Responsibilities:

  • 3 Years of Experience.
Responsible for operating an electric pallet jack or forklift. Selecting the correct products from warehouse racking. Labeling product using SOS label technology. Palletizing product as it is selected to build customer orders, and delivering product to the dock in a safe and efficient manner. Hand selects orders within warehouse dry environments. Operates assigned SOS unit to create labels, correctly places labels on product, stacks product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures (e.g., no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.). Stages pallets for loading on proper dock locations, stretch-wraps product on loading dock, maintains and safely operates all assigned equipment. Including but not limited to pallet jack, SOS unit, and personal protective equipment, and performs pre and post-trip inspections of equipment. Must follow Client's Safe preferred work methods at all times and follow sanitation requirements in order to comply with policy set forth by Client. This position requires working until all products are accurately selected and loaded including potential overtime on holidays and weekends.
Essential Skills:
The ability to meet or exceed minimum efficiency levels established through an engineered production standard. Working rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift in a fast paced environment. Meeting or exceeding established cases per error goals, and developing a good working knowledge of product, placement, and inventory control techniques and procedures. Basic requirements include being over the age of 18, the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English as it relates to the job and safety requirements. Basic arithmetic skills, and adequate physical fitness to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Reports to Night Warehouse Manager / Supervisor.
