Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated and dependable Lumpers to unload, sort, palletize, and prepare freight from shipping containers. This position is performance-based and paid per container completed, allowing hardworking individuals the opportunity to maximize their earnings through productivity and teamwork.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Unload cartons, boxes, and merchandise from shipping containers. Sort products by SKU, customer, or designated location. Stack and palletize products safely and efficiently. Wrap, label, and prepare pallets for warehouse storage or shipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and warehouse guidelines. Work as part of a team to complete containers accurately and efficiently. Report damaged products or safety concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Ability to work in hot or cold warehouse conditions. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift. Prior warehouse or lumping experience preferred but not required. Must be able to work well in a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. Continuous standing and walking during shifts. Ability to safely handle repetitive physical labor.
Pay Structure:
Paid Per Container Completed Earnings vary based on container volume, product type, and team productivity. Opportunity for higher earnings through efficient performance.
