Savannah, GA Job Details Full-time From $18 an hour 12 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Lift truck Palletization Attention to detail Materials handling Picking & packing Full Job Description Job Summary The Beer Picker position requires an associate to meet hourly performance goals using an assigned ipod that instructs the associate to go to an assigned location to scan and build pallets according to customer's needs, using power equipment. The Beer Picker appropriately handles all materials following company policies and procedures. Associates should be flexible to perform other functions such as inventory control, shipping & receiving, and returns. Responsibilities Maintain hourly performance goals Receive daily assigned ipods with preloaded customers orders Scan and verify the quantity, size, and product type using the company's technology Transport completed customer beer orders to the quality control area for accuracy verification Insure all loads are properly stacked, secured, and stable Stage confirmed pallets and verify pallets that failed the Quality Control audit Replenish product within a location using the company's technology and power equipment Perform and submit a daily power equipment check list to the appropriate manager Report in writing any safety or mechanical problems with the power equipment Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner Conduct operations and maintain the facility in a neat, clean, orderly, and safe manner Assist in maintaining the security of the logistics Perform other duties as assigned Competencies Change Professionalism Communication Relationships Self-Awareness Dependability Time Management Positive attitude Flexibility Results driven Critical Skills Strong attention to detail Able to read, write, and perform basic math computations Qualifications Must be 18 years or older Six months of experience in a similar position preferred Benefits/Goals This position is essential trial period/tryout in order to be hired on full time. Once you have worked 320 hours, you will be eligible to be hired on full time. once hired on full time, you will be given a $2/hr raise to the current rate, as well as all benefits listed in this ad. While working through us for this customer, you will be paid weekly and be held to the same exact standard of our customer. More details and all questions will be answered during the interview process.
