Production Packaging Associate Shift:
Rotating 12hr 2-2-3 (7P-7A) Job Description The Production Packaging Associate supports manufacturing operations by packaging finished plastic products in a fast-paced production environment. This role focuses on maintaining product quality, ensuring accurate labeling, and handling materials safely while consistently meeting production targets on a rotating third shift schedule. Responsibilities Package finished plastic products according to established standards and work instructions. Inspect products for quality, ensuring they meet specifications before packaging. Apply accurate labels to products and packaging to maintain proper identification and traceability. Handle materials and finished goods safely to prevent damage and ensure workplace safety. Support order picking and packing activities to meet production and shipping requirements. Assist with general labor tasks in the production area as needed to maintain workflow. Operate or assist with forklift use if trained and authorized, to move materials and finished goods. Maintain accurate counts of products and materials to support inventory control. Follow all safety practices and use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support efficient production. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to achieve daily production targets. Follow written and verbal work instructions with strong attention to detail. Be available to work scheduled third shift hours and overtime when required. Essential Skills Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse environments is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods during a full production shift. Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs safely and repeatedly as needed. Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and accurate labeling. Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions in a production environment. Basic understanding of safety practices in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts, including overtime if needed. Comfort working in a fast-paced production or packaging environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience with order picking, packing, and assembly tasks.. Experience operating a forklift is beneficial. Familiarity with basic inventory processes and material handling. The position requires frequent standing, bending, repetitive motions, and lifting of 40-50 lbs. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and provided, and you will work in an environment that emphasizes adherence to safety procedures and proper use of equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Fulton, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
