Job Description
Full-time General Warehouse Worker - $16.00/ HR Shipping Department Must be able to work Monday thru Friday 7:00am-3:45pm with occasional mandatory Overtime 6:00am-4:45pm Health, Dental, and Life Insurance - 1 st day of Employment 3 weeks of vacation your first full year Vision Insurance 401K Matching after 90 days of employment Employee Discounts Referral Program ($500-$1,000) Climate Controlled work environment
Essential Functions :
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position: Regular, reliable attendance is required as work cannot be performed remotely. Receive constructive performance feedback Obtain and sort orders by placing them on respective pallets. Load the appropriate trailer with the completed orders and make sure that orders are on the truck before a designated shipping time. Shrink wraps completed pallets of product to secure articles for shipment. Operate pallet jack to move and organize pallets. Label all shipping pallets with appropriate shipping labels Follow safety rules for personal protections and the protection of others, including maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Perform quality audits on shipping cartons Run and maintain print and apply area Package and tape all shipping cartons Floor stack cartons on specific customer trailers Create bill of lading and provide correspondent packing slip Ensure accurate weight specifications for each outgoing cartonNon-Essential Functions :
Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested.Qualifications :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Minimum of 1-2 years' experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. Must have basic computer skills. Knowledge of computerized inventory control system preferred.Physical Requirements :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee: Must be able to stand up to 8 to 10 hours in a day. Must be able to walk up to 8 - 10 hours a day Will occasionally climbs. Will occasionally push/pull carton train of boxed product weighing up to 200 pounds on assisted conveyor line. Will frequently bend, stoop, reach up and out, crouch, kneel, and push/pull from 5-50 pounds. Will frequently carry up to 35 pounds and occasionally carry up to 50 pounds. Will frequently lift up to 50 pounds. Will frequently have repetitive foot movement. Will frequently have repetitive hand/arm movements for simple reaching, simple and firm grasping and/or fine hand manipulation. Specific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Regularly required to stand; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects; and reach with hands and arms.Language Skills :
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, in English.Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add and subtract basic mathReasoning Ability:
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Work Environment:
