Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Packaging Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure efficient production of high-quality products. Your proactive approach and mechanical aptitude will contribute to a smooth workflow, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with industry regulations such as FDA guidelines and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices). Responsibilities Operate packaging machinery, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting to maximize productivity. Monitor machine performance throughout shifts, making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal operation. Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP standards during all packaging processes. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs using hand tools to prevent downtime and ensure safety. Document production data accurately, including batch records, machine logs, and quality checks. Assist in the assembly of packaging components and materials as required for various product lines. Use warehouse equipment such as forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods efficiently within the facility. Requirements Mechanical knowledge with experience operating packaging or manufacturing machinery. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated equipment control systems. Basic understanding of FDA regulations and CGMP standards applicable to pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environments. Ability to use hand tools for routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery. Warehouse experience with forklift operation is preferred for material handling tasks. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks as needed in a manufacturing setting.
