Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packer to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing products for shipment by accurately packaging items according to specified standards and procedures. Your energetic approach will ensure that packaging operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, contributing to the overall success of our production process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing environments, safety protocols, and packaging equipment, with a passion for maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced setting. Duties Operate packaging equipment and hand tools to assemble and package products in accordance with manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) Handle materials safely and efficiently using material handling equipment such as forklifts when necessary Interpret production documents to ensure correct packaging specifications and labeling are followed precisely Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of materials to prepare products for shipment while adhering to safety standards in production Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area, ensuring compliance with safety standards such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations Follow safety protocols rigorously during all packaging activities, including proper use of hand tools and industrial equipment Skills Knowledge of manufacturing facility operations and regulations Experience operating packaging equipment, industrial machinery, and material handling tools including forklifts Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining packaging machinery and industrial equipment Ability to interpret manufacturing documents, production instructions, and assembly guidelines accurately Strong basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying quantities during packing processes Familiarity with warehouse operations, safety standards in production environments, and safety protocol adherence Hands-on experience with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and industrial safety practices Join our team as a Packer to play a crucial role in delivering quality products efficiently while upholding safety and manufacturing excellence. Pay:
$16.50 - $18.50 per hour
