Momentum covers so many great rivers along the Pacific which are hard for the normal person to explore on their own. The service that Momentum provides is to enrich the guests with their beautiful surroundings of adventure, eat gourmet food, learn about different river regions, and be brought to their present away from the pressures of the world. The clientele that we attract are higher-end entrepreneurs, media-influencers and personable families that want to bond over some epic journeys. The Food is an essential part of the guest experience. The Food Packer team needs to work together and collaborate to bring dietary needs, special requests and packing strategies together for every trip so the guides and guests can be fed well as if food magically appeared before them in the middle of no where. Join our dynamic team as a Food Packing Associate in Donnelly, ID and become a vital part of our food management operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing food products while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Your attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will help us deliver top-quality products to our customers on the river. This position offers an engaging environment where teamwork, precision, independent self-management and safety are at the forefront of everything we do. The Momentum Headquarters is based in Ashland, OR so coordinating with headquarters while in Donnelly, ID is important. Duties Curate and edit designed menus to accommodate specific guest dietary concerns. Be able to self manage and gauge projects to ensure smooth production flow. Prepare and pack food products according to specified standards, maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency. Follow Food Handling regulations, MUST have a Food Handlers card, and other safety protocols to ensure product integrity and compliance. Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance. Manage warehouse inventory by accurately labeling, stacking, and organizing packaged products for packing and organizing. Shop in local areas to gather needed items for trips, budget cost-effective solutions and optimize vendor pricing . Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing station to promote a safe and efficient work environment. Experience Prior experience in kitchen prep or warehouse environments is preferred, especially within food packaging or related industries. Familiarity with packaging processes, assembly line operations, or food production is highly advantageous. Basic mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to use hand tools effectively. Experience in value-sourcing and cost analysis is a plus. Project Management skills Knowledge of FDA regulations, Food Handling standards, and safety procedures relevant to food storage and prep. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate packing and documentation.
