Job Description

Personnel Plus, Inc. in Burley is now hiring for a Bean Packaging / Production Worker position. Position Overview This position involves operating production and packaging equipment in a food production facility. Duties include using a tote lifter to unload bulk beans, feeding tote bags into an open-mouth bagging machine, packaging and sealing bean products, and maintaining strict sanitation and food safety standards throughout the facility.
Pay & Benefits Starting Pay:
$12.00 per hour
After Probationary Period:
Up to $16.00 per hour
Benefits:
Full benefits package available after probationary period Schedule — Major Benefit Work only 3 days per week (Monday-Wednesday) Enjoy 4 days off every week Additional shifts on Thursday or Friday may be required if production is behind schedule
Start Time:
As early as 3:30
AM End Time:
Around 5:30 PM (hours may vary) Responsibilities Package and seal bags of beans using production equipment Operate and monitor bagging and packaging machines Use a tote lifter to unload bulk tote bags into an open-mouth bagging machine Assist with packaging, sealing, labeling, and preparing products for shipment Follow detailed operating instructions and safety procedures Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment Wash hands frequently and follow food safety and hygiene standards Use sanitation chemicals to clean and sanitize equipment at the end of each shift Perform additional duties as assigned Work Environment Food production facility Hot and humid conditions during summer months Strict hygiene and sanitation standards required at all times Physical Requirements Ability to stand for 12+ hour shifts Frequent twisting, turning, bending, and repetitive motion Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
