Mittera is seeking motivated individuals to join our growing team as a Fulfillment Specialist. This role operates in a unique hybrid environment, approximately 70% on the warehouse floor and 30% at a computer, making it ideal for individuals seeking a less sedentary workday. The Fulfillment Specialist oversees the order fulfillment cycle, ensuring orders are accurately processed, packed, and shipped on time. This role is also responsible for managing finished goods inventory, both physically and within fulfillment software, and plays a key part in streamlining operations to support efficiency and customer satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Pick and package a variety of materials that require a limited assortment of packing procedures and techniques Place, arrange, mark, seal, and tag items on pallets and in containers, bins, and bulk storage Consolidate various items for shipment in accordance with standard operating instructions Assemble finished products into boxes or containers for shipping Count and sort various product items Perform related tasks such as placing labels on packages and handling boxes in preparation for shipping Ensure accurate shipping information is attached Produces at quantity and quality levels in accordance with production requirements Maintains area, worktables, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition Other duties as assignedRequirements:
Required Skills and Abilities College degree or equivalent experience Knowledge of routine picking procedures, techniques, equipment, and basic warehouse procedures preferred Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced Excel skills Effective communications skills with all levels within the organization Requires basic arithmetic and skill to measure, count and weigh products and materials Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Must be self-motivated, reliable, and quality, safety oriented Physical Requirements Requires use of proper body mechanics with pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, squatting, kneeling, and bending Pushing/pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity, and coordination Requires near visual acuity Requires working around and operating departmental equipment Must be able to access and navigate each department in the facility Requires the ability to function in a professional manner under stressful circumstances Mittera is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
