Location:
DeKalb Shift:
Monday - Thursday | 4:15 PM - 2:45
AM Pay Rate:
$18.76/hour + $1.25 shift premium (
Effective Rate:
$20.01/hour) Summary Description While reporting directly to the Shift Lead, the Packer I is responsible for supporting production within the Thermoforming department by packing finished goods, monitoring quality, handling reclaim material, and ensuring production requirements are met safely and accurately. What You'll Be Doing Verify job orders to determine correct box quantity and corrugated size for each production run Confirm all required materials are staged and ready for packing Position and mark reclaim carts according to reclaim guidelines during production Visually inspect product for defects to ensure quality standards are met Pack finished goods according to customer specifications Set scales for first full box and monitor weights during production Label, seal, and palletize finished boxes Complete production documentation accurately and on time Ensure machine guarding is in place for safe operation Rotate and replace reclaim carts, pallets, and finished goods as needed Remove scrap from machines and place into designated reclaim carts Monitor reclaim quality according to reclaim procedures Perform daily housekeeping to keep work area clean and free of debris We'd Love to Hear From You If You can speak, read, and write English Prior packing experience is preferred You can follow written and verbal instructions You can operate a pallet jack You are dependable and reliable Benefits At TOPPAN Packaging Americas, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support overall wellbeing.
