Summary:
Receives, stores, packages/distributes materials, and products within establishments by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or print BOM to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. This will include being able to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to stand for the entire shift in steel toed boots. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, product code, or part number. This will include being able to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to stand for the entire shift in steel toed boots. Fills work orders, requests for materials, or other stock items. This will include being able to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to stand for the entire shift in steel toed boots. Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders in designated packaging. This will include being able to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to stand for the entire shift in steel toed boots. Marks materials with identifying information. Opens boxes, crates, and other containers. Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards. Arranges stock parts in specified sequence. This will include being able to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to stand for the entire shift in steel toed boots. Creates parts kits from customer specifications. Prepares parcels for outgoing distribution. This will include being able to lift up to 50 pounds, and able to stand for the entire shift in steel toed boots. Maintains inventory records. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to arrange numbers in numerical order and accurately compare part numbers to ensure the correct part is added to the kit. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
