This hands-on position includes building custom skids and crates, operating material-handling equipment, and loading finished products. What You'll Do Package and crate standard and custom products according to shop orders Build wooden skids and crates using saws, drills, nailers, and hand tools Weigh products before shipment Move, store, and load products onto various carriers Operate forklifts, hand trucks, hoists, and overhead cranes Complete biweekly inventory cycle counts Maintain equipment and report needed repairs Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe Assist with other crating and loading duties as needed What We're Looking For Ability to read and speak English Ability to accurately read a tape measure Comfortable using power tools and handling lumber Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions Willingness to perform physical, hands-on work No previous crating experience required—training will be provided
