Responsibilities Efficiently pick customer orders using RF scanners, barcode scanning, and warehouse management systems to ensure accuracy and completeness. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools safely and effectively. Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods with manual lifting techniques and adherence to safety protocols. Pack products securely for shipping, including labeling, barcode scanning for logistics, and quality control checks. Maintain organized inventory by stocking shelves accurately and updating inventory management systems in real-time. Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Follow safety procedures consistently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), manual handling techniques, and heavy equipment operation standards. Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage space and workflow. Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy within inventory management systems. Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse operations, streamline order picking processes, and uphold safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers; prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management systems. Skilled in operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Strong understanding of order fulfillment processes including picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and quality control. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse environment. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and order accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
