Job Description

Job Title:
Cherry Picker Operator Job Description As a Cherry Picker Operator, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations. You will be responsible for moving finished products to the packaging area after all processes have been completed according to the Manufacturing Order instructions. You will ensure that products are correctly labeled and packaged according to specifications and customer requirements, safeguarding parts to prevent damage to machined surfaces. Responsibilities Operate cherry picker and other warehouse machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Move finished products to the packaging area following Manufacturing Order instructions. Verify parts against the Manufacturing Order to ensure correct product and process completion. Label products according to specifications and package them in predetermined quantities and boxes. Palletize boxes with visible labels for easy identification. Safeguard parts to prevent damage to machined surfaces. Essential Skills Minimum of 2+ years forklift experience. Ability to perform heavy picking, up to 50 pounds daily. Experience with inventory systems and inventory control. Familiarity with order picking, packing, and bills of lading. Proficiency with SAP and RF scanners. Additional Skills & Qualifications No certifications needed. Experience with stand-up forklifts and reach trucks. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a clean, new warehouse environment with third shifts available. Third shift hours are Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM, with overtime on Friday nights. Employees are required to wear steel-toed or safety shoes, and vests are provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Romeoville, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
