Cherry Picker Operator Job Description As a Cherry Picker Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring that finished products are accurately checked, labeled, and packaged according to specified guidelines. You will be responsible for moving finished products to the packaging area, verifying product specifications, and ensuring that products are packaged safely to prevent damage. Responsibilities Operate cherry picker and related equipment to move products to the packaging area. Verify parts against Manufacturing Order (MO) to ensure correct product and process completion. Label products according to product specifications and customer requirements. Package products in predetermined quantities and boxes with visible labels for easy identification. Palletize boxes ensuring labels are visible for easy identification. Safeguard parts to prevent damage to machined surfaces. Essential Skills 2+ years of forklift experience. Experience in heavy picking (50 lbs daily). Proficiency in using inventory systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with inventory control and SAP. Familiarity with packing and bills of lading. Experience with stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks. Why Work Here? Enjoy working in a clean and modern facility with great management. The mid-shift operates from Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with overtime before the shift. The third shift runs Sunday to Thursday from 9:00 PM to 5:30 AM, with overtime on Friday nights. Safety gear, including steel-toed shoes or safety shoes, and vests are provided. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Romeoville, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
