Packaging Worker

Responsibilities Operate packaging machinery and equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), to facilitate efficient product assembly and packaging. Use hand tools and mechanical knowledge to assemble components and ensure proper fit and finish of packaged products. Follow FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and other safety standards to maintain compliance during packaging activities. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper labeling, sealing, and documentation of packaged items. Utilize forklift and warehouse experience to move raw materials and finished goods safely within the facility. Conduct quality checks throughout the packaging process to identify defects or inconsistencies, maintaining high standards of product integrity. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following proper housekeeping procedures, ensuring safety for all team members. Experience Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred, especially in packaging or assembly roles. Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to operate hand tools confidently is highly advantageous. Familiarity with forklift operation and warehouse logistics enhances efficiency in material handling tasks. Understanding of FDA regulations, CGMP guidelines, and safety protocols ensures compliance in a regulated manufacturing setting. Previous exposure to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated packaging equipment is a plus.
