Picker/Packer Entry Level Zogalo Foods West Chicago, IL Job Details Full-time $16.50 - $21.00 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Packing Forklift Warehouse experience Materials handling Picking & packing Full Job Description Job Summary Join our team as a picker/packer and become a part of our growing business. This position includes hours of 7 am - 3:30 pm. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing products for shipment while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities Efficiently pick items using order picker equipment and barcode scanning technology to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Pack products securely using proper packaging techniques to prevent damage during transit. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, forklifts, and other heavy machinery following safety guidelines. Assist with inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and updating inventory management systems. Load and unload shipments safely using appropriate material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Support shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse workspace to promote safety and efficiency. Experience Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately. Strong attention to detail in order picking, packing quality control, and inventory accuracy. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with good communication skills.
Pay:
$16.50 - $21.00 per hour
