Job Description
The Shipping/ Packaging Specialist is Technifab's last line of defense before items are shipped to the customer. Qualified applicants must be very meticulous and detail oriented to assure the customer is getting a product that meets or exceeds their expectations.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to read and understand drawings, bill of materials, cutlists, inspection procedures, manufacturing manual procedures, etc. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Experience using saws and other power tools a plus Carpentry skills a plus
Responsibilities Include:
Performing visual and dimensional inspections Applying the correct decals as required per drawing and inspection procedure Etching or engraving identification of items as required The use of inspection tools: (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.) Verifying process travelers and job packets, all items completed and signed off Ensuring product is packaged appropriately for protection Following Technifab safety guidelines Taking pictures of finished products in their shipping containers Performing all other duties as directed by supervisor About Crane Crane Co. is a diversified manufacturer of highly engineered industrial products.
