Job Description
Job Description Join a team that builds kits used for clinical trials, sample collection, medical testing, and other healthcare-related programs. This role involves picking, packing, and assembling kits in a clean, automated production environment. If you enjoy hands-on, detail-oriented work and thrive in a structured setting with clear processes, this could be a great fit. Key Responsibilities Assemble kits according to work instructions and quality standards. Pick components using an automated system that guides you through each order. Pack kit contents accurately and verify all required items are included. Label completed kits and prepare them for shipment. Verify orders and transfer kits into shipping containers. Route packages to the correct shipping carrier based on instructions. Assist with manual assembly projects and special customer orders. Follow computer-based instructions and use production software to complete tasks. Maintain accuracy when picking, packing, labeling, and assembling kits. Rotate between multiple workstations after training. Meet daily productivity and quality goals in a fast-paced environment. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow all company safety, cleanliness, and production policies. Participate in ongoing training and cross-training opportunities. Lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and assist with team lifts when needed. Required Skills & Qualifications Ability to stand for extended periods, including up to 12-hour shifts. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards. Basic computer skills and comfort following on-screen instructions. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. independently. Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Reliable attendance and ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule. Ability to follow workplace policies and safety procedures. Preferred Qualifications Experience in picking, packing, assembly, or production work. Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or healthcare-related production environments. Familiarity with conveyor systems and labeling equipment. Ability to learn multiple job functions and rotate between workstations. Interest in long-term growth within a production environment. Team members typically rotate workstations every few hours. 12-hour rotating 2/2/3 schedule:
Day Shift:
6:00 AM - 6:00PM Night Shift:
6:00 PM - 6:00 AM Two paid 20-minute breaks and one paid 30-minute lunch per shift. Closed-toe shoes and long pants required. One earbud/headphone permitted in designated work areas. Structured environment with clear expectations, processes, and opportunities for advancement. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $18.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
