Back Packer 2nd shift 7pm-7am Light Industrial & Manufacturing Remington , Indiana Contract to Hire Oct 2, 2026 Production Associate Job Summary A Production Associate is responsible for assisting in the manufacturing and production process by operating equipment, assembling products, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities Operate production machinery and equipment according to company procedures. Assemble, package, and label products accurately. Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards. Monitor production lines and report equipment malfunctions or quality issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures. Meet daily production targets and deadlines. Load and unload materials as needed. Maintain production records and complete required documentation. Assist with inventory counts and material handling. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is an advantage but not required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and quality. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime if needed.
