Monday-Thursday, 7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m. Alternating Bi-weekly with Monday-Wednesday 7pm-7am Farmer Direct Foods is looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our seven-person production team in New Cambria, Kansas. This is a hands-on position in a small, fast-paced flour milling operation. We provide extensive on-site training, but candidates should have prior mechanical, equipment operation, maintenance, agricultural, or industrial experience. After completing a 90-day introductory period, employees become eligible for a comprehensive benefits package valued at approximately $6.00 per hour.

The primary responsibility of this position is to produce safe, legal, and high-quality food products while following food safety procedures, completing required documentation, and maintaining a clean and organized facility. Primary Responsibilities Safely operate production, milling, packaging, warehouse, and grain-handling equipment Operate forklifts and load trucks safely and efficiently Operate packaging lines, palletizing equipment, metal detectors, labelers, printers, and related systems Operate the grain-cleaning, wheat-delivery, and milling systems Perform required product-quality and food-safety checks Adjust equipment and processes to maintain product specifications Complete required SQF, production, sanitation, and maintenance documentation Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, inspection, and preventive maintenance Maintain adequate supplies of pallets, packaging materials, and other production materials Properly wrap, cover, identify, and store finished products Troubleshoot minor equipment and process issues Assist in other areas of the facility as production needs require Complete other reasonable duties assigned by management Qualifications Mechanical, industrial, agricultural, equipment operation, or maintenance experience is required Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Strong attention to food safety, product quality, and documentation Willingness to learn and become proficient in milling, packaging, and warehouse operations Ability to work the full third-shift schedule About Farmer Direct Foods Farmer Direct Foods is a small flour milling company located in New Cambria, Kansas.
