This team works closely with the delivery and purchasing departments to meet or exceed goals for Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Delivery.

Job:
Heavy work
  • Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Job Function:
Generally responsible for completing basic, routine tasks with detailed instructions and/or core knowledge of shop flow. Pulls and assembles orders based on reviewing work/shipping orders or other documentation. Coordinates and executes material handling. Performs quality control inspections. Sorts and packages parts as directed. Tags material for proper identification and complete all required documentation. Completes work order paperwork/documentation. Operates yard truck, forklift, and overhead crane for the purpose of loading and unloading trailers. Spot checks on inventory, completes daily and/or ad hoc checks for proper tagging of material, as directed. Reports any irregularities to supervisor for direction. Responsible for adhering to/ensuring compliance with applicable safety and quality standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area. All other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
Required Skills:
Valid Driver's License
  • required. Must be able to meet or exceed Level 4 (Heavy Work) of a Personal Capacity Profile. 0-5 years of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • required. Ability to show adequate manual dexterity, finger dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and multilimbed coordination
  • required. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions as applied to work situations
