Job description Join the manufacturing team at Penny Plate in Glasgow, Missouri! We are seeking dependable Production Packers to inspect, count, pack, and label containers. This role is essential to maintaining our high quality standards, ensuring smooth machine operations, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Available Shifts & Hours 1st

Shift:

7:00 AM•3:00 PM ($17.00/hour) 2nd

Shift:

3:00 PM•11:00 PM ($18.00/hour includes $1.00 shift differential) 3rd

Shift:

11:00 PM•7:00 AM ($18.25/hour includes $1.25 shift differential)

Overtime:

Mandatory Saturday shifts as required by business needs.

Compensation & Benefits Starting Pay:

$17.00/hour base rate.

Built-in Raise:

Automatic $0.50/hour pay increase after 90 days.

Weekly Bonus:

Extra $50.00 attendance bonus paid weekly.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Quality Inspection:

Inspect containers for defects using visual checks and a light box.

Measurement Checks:

Verify flange height on IVC containers and report variances to Quality Control.

Foreign Material Control:

Ensure zero foreign material is packed with the final product.

Product Packing:

Pack exact counts of containers into proper boxes using specified partitions.

Labeling & Logistics:

Seal boxes and clearly label them with date, shift, packer ID, and sequence number.

Machine Flow Management:

Maintain smooth product flow from the machine to minimize downtime.

Emergency Response:

Monitor the die area and stacker; shut off the press immediately during a jam.

Housekeeping:

Keep the packing table and area from the press to the aisle clean and orderly.

Equipment Care:

Wipe down stackers during and at the end of each shift. Safety Requirements Employees must wear the Company provided required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times: Safety glasses and hearing protection. White cotton gloves when handling product. Hair net and beard net (if applicable). Job Requirements & Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Basic math, reading, and writing skills. Background check and drug screening required prior to hire.

Physical Demands & Work Environment Standing/Walking:

Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.

Physical Agility:

Continuous bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and grasping (7-8 hours/day).

Dexterity:

Excellent fine finger dexterity and repetitive use of both hands.

Lifting:

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Environment:

Ability to work around moving machinery in a loud, dusty environment with marked temperature changes.
