•19 per hour, depending on experience Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Worker

•Long Product Material Processor to join our team. This position is responsible for safely loading, unloading, handling, processing, and moving metal bar and pipe materials to the appropriate machines and departments. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, organized, comfortable working in a warehouse environment, and able to perform physically demanding tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Pull starting stock material for machines according to work orders. Process materials accurately based on work-order specifications. Operate band saws and abrasive saws to cut metal materials to the required lengths. Review processing queues and prioritize/distribute work as needed. Review the ASRS system and perform routine lower-level maintenance. Maintain accurate paperwork and documentation for order processing. Create and process barcode tags for materials. Deburr all cut material coming from the saw. Verify that all material is properly marked with alloy, specification, heat, and size before releasing it to shipping. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and required training. Perform additional warehouse and material-processing duties as assigned. Physical Requirements This position requires frequent physical activity and the ability to: Handle or feel materials using hands and fingers for extended periods. Reach with hands and arms frequently. Bend, climb, kneel, crawl, twist, and balance frequently. Stand and walk for extended periods. Lift up to 50 pounds frequently . Lift up to 75 pounds occasionally . Push and pull loads weighing approximately 25-50 pounds frequently . Perform work requiring close vision and attention to detail. Communicate effectively and hear safety and operational instructions. Working Environment The position is performed in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with frequent visual and auditory attention required. Employees will use a computer regularly to receive and provide work-related information. The work environment may include exposure to: Operating and potentially hazardous machinery Sharp tools and metal materials Moving equipment and objects Noise Heat and humidity All employees are expected to follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area. #insj

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math skills. Strong work ethic and self-motivation. Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Ability to maintain positive and professional relationships with coworkers, customers, and suppliers. Previous warehouse, manufacturing, metal-processing, saw-operation, or material-handling experience is a plus.
