Job Title:

Order Picker Job Description As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for riding a sit-down forklift to pick orders from an invoice sheet. You will locate items, pull them, and stack them onto a forklift. The role involves operating a sit-down forklift and reach truck, handling items that weigh up to 50lbs. Additionally, you may be required to load trailers and pack items for shipping. Responsibilities Operate a sit-down forklift and reach truck to pick orders. Locate, pull, and stack items weighing up to 50lbs. Load trailers and pack items for shipping. Occasionally work in cooler and freezer environments to pick orders. Essential Skills Experience with sit-down forklift operation. Experience with pallet jacks, reach trucks, and order pickers. Prior warehouse, material handling, and order picking experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work in cold temperatures. Accuracy and attention to detail. Competitive nature, self-motivated, and independent. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will be working in the world's largest bakery supply company, distributing commodities like flour, sugar, food coloring, and frosting. The warehouse floor operates with a small crew of 7-8 people, promoting a chill and relaxed atmosphere without micromanagement. Shift hours are from 3pm to finish. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
