Ducktrap.com to learn more about us. Summary A Processing employee is responsible for the presentation, spicing and packaging of ready to eat smoked seafood. Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Must be able to lift 35lbs. Works under refrigeration (55 degrees F.) Required to stand, bend, twist, push and lift throughout the shift. Must wear proper "PPE" including smock, hair net, apron, gloves, boots and face mask. Applies spices to products. Weighs products. Weighs and Packages shellfish and pates. Places weighed products into proper bags for vacuum packing. Operates vacuum pack, slicing, pate and skinning machines. Expected to perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must follow safe work and sanitation standards. Must follow company policies and SOP's Must be commitment to the Mowi code of conduct and vision and values. Must be dependable. Expected to perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by the Incumbent to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk on textured concrete floors for a minimum of eight hours. He/she will be using their arms, hands and fingers to handle, feel, reach product. There is also, a lot of pinch gripping. Noise level in work environment is usually moderate. He/she is required to use proper PPE, (Personal Protective Equipment) appropriately to prevent injury to self or others.

Vision requirements include:

close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Education Requirements High School Diploma or the equivalent.
