Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Warehouse Customer Door Associate is responsible for breaking down and sorting all orders while verifying the accuracy of every order before tendering over to the appropriate party. This includes timely and correctly remedying of any mis-picks and breakage. This position ensures that non-authorized personnel stay out of the customer door area while ensuring that the correct product is given to the appropriate recipient. During this process the worker will be verifying and signing off on all invoiced product returns and take stage to the back dock for scanning. Other duties for the Warehouse Customer Door include, but not limited to: Releasing orders Printing and dispersing of labels Scanning product and closing of routes. Create and maintain a clean work area that is devoid of hazards, refuse, remnant personal effects and prohibited items. Work Environment & Physical Demands This position operates in a non-controlled warehouse environment being exposed to high and low temperatures based on outdoor temperature conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration where the noise level can be loud. This position is also very active and must frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, stoop and climb throughout the day while lifting, stacking, moving and rotating with items, without handles, that weigh up to 50 pounds; push/pull carts with up to 100 pounds of force. This position also requires operating warehouse equipment and regularly to read, write and communicate in English. Work Schedule This is a full-time position working 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule, Monday through Friday. Overtime and Saturdays may be required based on holiday schedules and business needs. Pay & Benefits $16.00 - 17.00 per hour (entry-level wage) Vacation and Personal Time 6 Paid Holidays Competitive benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, Employee Assistance Programs, and Group Legal coverage. Required Qualifications At least 18 years of age High School Diploma/GED (preferred) Ability to be active and on your feet for an entire shift. Ability to frequently lift and carry 55 lbs., and push or pull up to 100 lbs. Additional Requirements Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee policy manual and any applicable contracts, signed agreements, and work rules. Cooperates with all management and staff of GLWAS. Follows all MLCC rules and regulations, as they apply to the position. Use alcohol in a responsible manner when related to business activities.
